Terms of Service

By accessing or using Citizen's Eye, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the platform on behalf of a government entity or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

Citizen's Eye is a transparency and governance platform that provides project tracking, anonymous reporting, fund escrow management, and compliance monitoring services across the CEMAC region.

Registered users must provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Anonymous reporting does not require an account.

You may not use the platform to submit false reports, manipulate data, impersonate officials, or interfere with investigations. Misuse of the anonymous reporting system to harass or defame individuals is prohibited and may be referred to authorities.

Citizen's Eye is not a bank or financial institution. The platform provides verification and authorization services for fund release. Actual funds are held by registered escrow providers (government treasuries, development banks, or CEMAC-licensed financial institutions).

The platform, its design, algorithms, and documentation are proprietary. Government data entered into the platform remains the property of the respective government entity. Citizen-submitted evidence becomes part of the public accountability record.

Citizen's Eye provides tools for transparency and verification. We do not guarantee the outcome of investigations, the accuracy of citizen-submitted evidence, or the actions of government authorities in response to findings.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon and applicable OHADA business law. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
